Brock High School to Expand Current Athletic Facilities to Include Softball and Baseball Fields
Brock, TX – FIELDS, Inc., a sports general contractor building sports fields of distinction, today announced site plans to install two state-of-the-art synthetic fields at Brock High School in Brock, Texas. FIELDS, Inc. will create a new softball field and baseball field to expand the school’s athletic facilities and accommodate students and athletes in the Brock Independent School District for sporting events and practices, as well as physical education classes and other special events.
The new turf fields will be the first softball and baseball fields available on Brock High School’s campus. The construction of the athletic fields will include the addition of stadium lighting, bleachers and a covered viewing stand, as well as batting cages and bullpens for the student athletes.
“The addition of our two new athletic fields helps support our mission of developing students both academically and physically, providing them with the tools to make healthy lifestyle choices both on and off the field,” said Richard Tedder, Brock Independent School District. “With FIELDS’ expertise, we know we are installing high quality facilities for our current and future students.”
Additional plans for Brock High School’s new athletic facilities include the construction of a gated main entrance and welcome signage bearing the school’s name. The complex will also feature a plaza with upgraded walkways around the softball and baseball fields, as well as directional pathways leading to other stadiums and athletic facilities on campus.
“We are very excited to work with Brock High School and install the new softball and baseball fields on campus,” said FIELDS president and CEO, Brian Storm. “By providing their students with these state-of-the-art amenities, we can maximize their athletic programs and help them compete at a higher level.”
FIELDS plans to complete the project by the end of January 2013, just in time for the start of baseball and softball season.
